Converting every visitor into subscriber Each time the doors of a showroom beckon visitors it is the prime target of the salesman to sell his wares to him. Similarly it must be ensured that every visitor to a website transforms into a subscriber. Most people who surf the net visit innumerable sites every single day but rarely become subscribers! So for a good business to flourish it becomes mandatory to retain its customers. Due to the cut throat competition hundreds of websites offer similar wares, making it a hard choice for the users. Going from one link to the other and one website to the next a person completely loses track of where he was a minute ago! Before converting every visitor into a subscriber one must clearly understand that each visitor has potential. Various factors can contribute to the changing of a visitor into a prospective buyer or customer. If the content is worthwhile, attractive, a mine of information then rest assured your visitor ain’t going nowhere. Constant upgradation or updation or rewriting of content is a must. Clear and logically written material always sends across the right message and the visitor realizes that he has come to the correct website. The visitor has to be convinced that yours is the only website that can deliver. It is only if a visitor joins your mailing list that you can be sure of communicating with him again. So it is of utmost importance that the visitor leaves his name and e mail address on your website. Once a visitor becomes a subscriber to your mailing list you will be able to send him e-mails informing him about your products and special offers. If this happens one can be sure of success and profits in the long run. A little effort will definitely go a long way. |
