A city of blood! New Delhi,It has been always known as city of blood, because hundreds of time Delhi has taken Bath of blood,Right from the 11 th Century A.D when a turk King attacked Delhi from afganistan side,he conquered Delhi and shed the blood everywhere,he broke precious Indian temples and Monuments thus created his own Monument, Finally that was Kutubudinaibak from same family he created "Kutub Minar" A heritage pillar of 72m and 5 Floors is a nice example of it!! Thus he created the First delhi..Then after Kings after Kings Invaded India and conquered and created their Delhi, In all 9 Delhis has been created by Kings from different dynestise,Most of them Turkishn,Afghanis, and Muslims Finally 7th Delhi has been created by King Shahjahan who created Tajmahal. Then came English from England,They created 8th Delhi So In all 8 Times delhi has been constructed and destructed and then reconstructed with the price of Human Lives and Seeing The 9th Delhi in which I am living now i can say "The Population ,The Polloution and The corrouption has taken all the leads and upto the Peak,Dishonesty is on the top and I dont know when 10 delhi will be created!!! Today apart from the bad things ,Delhi has three parts 1 New Delhi- Created by English and Present Gouvernment 2 Old Delhi- Created by King Shahjahan in 17th Century 3 Trans river Delhi- Suburbs Todays Delhi is so good and beautiful in terms of Monuments that i dont have words for the beauty of heritage monuments like 1 Kutub Minar 2 Humyuns Tomb 3 Red Fort 4 Jama Masjid 5 Rajghat Etc So when ever you visit Delhi Dont miss these wonderful Monuments, where as Hotels are concerned 5 stars Ranges between $300 to $600 a Night and then we have all prices till 10$ or less per night depending upon the Area!! |
