Varanasi,A City of Miracles,Love and religion also known as City on Trident of God Shiva!
A city where Death and life comes together A big pilgrim spot in history of Hindus A city in North of India where famous river Ganges pass by calmely,A city where there are more temples than anywhere around the world ,A city of Rivers ganges,varuna and asi!! Varanasi the name is came from two rivers Varuna and asi! These two names have chnged by the time and became Varanasi,These two rivers goes then into ganges the famous biggest river of India to make it so large that it is about 600 meters large in width(It covers more than 3500 Kilometers from Himalaya to Indian Ocean) Varanasi was the ancient name of this city because of these two rivers,After England conquered and reached that part of India,They gave a new name which is BENARAS but today again the city is more known as Varanasi This is called city of miracles because of its temples and wishes coming true every now and then and people are telling their stories to each other A city where cows are roaming in all streets and people are offering them food!!! A city where lies the famous "Golden temple with tons of gold on Dome of temple,A city where King Aurangzeb has built Mosque juste besides temple History says Aurangzeb was a Cruel Muslim King,He started destroyig all Hindou temples to reconstruct at same place Mosques,and thats how in 18th century he destroyed a part of Golden temple and constructed a Mosque,which you can still see whenever you visit Varanasi! A city where with Sarnath, the place where Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment, just 10 km away, Varanasi has been a symbol of Hindu religion. A City where lies the best university of India ,I can says the biggest one! A city where we pray stones and we pray godess Ganges river, In the evening when you go near River you will find lots of "Diyas" floating on river bed,
"Diyas" are enlighten fire in a small cup of leaves,or you can say small candles!it enlightens completely the river bed as thousands of people throw their floated candles in river !This way ganges is worshiped In evening thousands of people gather on river bank to see "AARTIS" prayers in hindu religion by priests Million of people takes the sacred bath in ganges because it is written in sacred books that our sins are gone just by a simple bath in river Trust me in festival time there are over 100 Million people visiting in 10 to 12 days to take that sacred bath because miraculeos river is ready to remove all your sins so that you can start a new life once again!!!! Staying at Varanasi Generally no bookings are required but it is better to send an emailwithout payment to any hotel of your choice!
0 stars to 5 stars Varanasi has all.All you have to do is to choose a hotel and send an email!! Price range between $10 to $30 for 0 stars
and for luxury hotels it starts from $40 to $60
Then 5 stars for $100 and more per night!! People who are travelling with bag at back they prefer staying on river banks,there are lots of small hotels For more information on Varanasi Either ask me here or google your search!!
