Kerala Ayurveda massage training Course Part 2 By Viku Rawat Hello again Today i will try to explain about few therapies which are very rare and these therpies are used only in India and that too by a Doctor only,A therapist or a Massagist can not do this! The first therapy is "Vamana" As i explained earlier,A human body has three imbalances in ayurveda ,because of which a human body is ill with several diseases,So keeping the balance of these three is essential,and these three are 1 vata 2 pita 3 kapha So vamana is a therapy in which "muscus" is removed from chest,basically this therapy is for treating Asthma,Bronchitis and any spasm in chest or any other problem in chest In this therapy we use Cow milk made "Butter oil" which is a purest form of oil and people love it using in everyday food,A Patient is given this oil to drink and generally anyone who drinks this oil tends to vomit!! So thats all it is a therapy in which a patient is given oil to drink so that he or she vomits to clear up all muscus present in the chest!! Generally it is seen in patients suffering from asthma,they get instant relief from taking"Vamana"though this is not the only therapy. There are five actions together ,Vamana is just the one!! People from around the world comes to india to get One out of Five actions which is called Panchkarma therapy Next i will write more about Virechna therapy which is purgation and is the second action in Panchkarma therapies Do not use this or any other medical treatment on your own!!
